Purpose

As Marketing Manager, you will help to deliver the marketing strategy and work to improve the experiences of Pioneer Group based companies. You will lead on rolling out the marketing plan, customer acquisition and retention channels and support the Marketing and Customer Experience Director in delivering projects and campaigns by producing marketing material and content.

The Role
As Marketing Manager, you will be a key figure in the Marketing team. This in-house team delivers the marketing strategy responsible for creative content across all channels to effectively promote the company and generate new business.

The outputs of your efforts will be measured by our marketing objectives, the retention of client companies and brand health. You will coordinate and delegate tasks between the Marketing team and oversee progress while creating and implementing SOPs to streamline processes.

You will support and be supported by the Marketing and Customer Experience Director and Marketing team and work closely with Site Managers.

Key Responsibilities

Across all disciplines and locations, you will have primary responsibility for:

Digital

• Create and publish marketing campaigns to support strategy
• Working with the Marketing Team to create digital adverts to promote all services for Pioneer
• Develop relationships with channel partners to increase content reach across digital
• Support and manage the comms strategy for rolling out marketing platforms to locations
• Support with delivering comms on behalf of sites

Content

• Work alongside the Digital Content Manager to write, produce and publish marketing content for online and off-line channels, including digital platforms, website, social, digital, extranet, communications and brochures
• Working with the Digital Content Manager to create and monitor the content calendar
• Create regular newsletters

Engagement

• Co-create and oversee the group-wide comms plan
• Identify and share relevant opportunities for Pioneer based companies across all digital channels and platforms
• Support the Digital Content Manager by engaging in daily online social media conversations
• Support events
• Update external stakeholder digital platforms
• Liaise with partners, suppliers and stakeholders

Brand

• Ensure communications, imagery and media remain in line with brand
• Maintain templates and improvements on marketing SaaS platforms
• Brand ambassador and brand guardian for the company

Data and reporting

• Monitor marketing activities, set targets, review the impact and report on KPIs
• Manage web analytics
• Monitor SEO improvements, share ideas and update strategy

We’re looking for

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a marketing role, will be a highly driven marketing communications expert with a broad understanding of digital channels with a mix of marketing, analytical, editorial, relationship management and organisational skills.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a creative team, can manage their workload and enjoys working in a challenging, demand-led environment where their expertise will be given recognition.

• Degree educated ideally from Marketing or Business-related discipline
• Significant experience in a marketing role
• High organisation skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Full mix of digital and brand marketing experience
• Strategic and operational marketing experience
• An obsession with customer service and understanding the customer
• Strong content creator
• Knowledge of Google Analytics
• Previously managed PPC, Social or Google Ads campaigns
• Learning and problem-solving mindset; must be adaptable and open to challenges and keen to find new ways of doing things.
• An interest in science and entrepreneurship
